What's up with churches these days

I can't understand it! I am so fustrated with the way we do church. It seems that the incompetence of the organization is only surpassed by the good intentions of those who attend to fulfilling it's mission. We go to a church of nice people but low expectations for what it means to program and organize. I feel competely inept in any attempts to make real change to the organism of the the church. Church shouldn't be this hard. Don't get me wrong, like a marriage it's worth fighting for but sometimes you just want to enjoy one another. I need to find ways to bring the joy back to church.
